Artist Statement

Everything has something to say…rusted bottle caps, frayed prayer flags, old book covers, discarded overalls, dead leaves, pine needles, tree bark, plastic water bottles…and when they assemble together, they bring me hope.

I believe that my work a an artist and as a human is to listen, and to not simply toss things away. Every single thing is a part of a truth we each hold only a fragment of. I recently read these words: “Listen truth into time.” I wish to do this with my work.
