Artist Statement
As much as I enjoy traveling and photographing grand landscapes, I increasingly find satisfaction in seeking out more intimate and overlooked beauty near my home; in my case that being primarily near the Cascade Canal above Nevada City, CA. I am particularly fascinated exploring the Art of Nature, primarily with a focus on Nature as an Abstract Artist. This quest has found me on my hands and knees on many a cold morning attempting to capture the beauty and diversity of Banner Mountain Ice.
