Artist Statement
I have always been a tomboy, a lover of the outdoors, a backpacker, camper and fisherwoman. I’ve been bitten in my beloved outdoors twice by ticks and unfortunately, acquired Lyme Disease and a co-infection which changed my outdoor behavior forever. My “hope” is to encourage others to safely be in the outdoors, protected from ticks, take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints. I continue to enjoy the outdoors by taking photos that inspire and invite exploration.
