Preston and Adam work together to deepen and share their know-how about living in a harsh northern climate. In a geodesic dome, they grow food that they offer directly to their community, while teaching the members food self-sufficiency.
Preston Sam : Preston Sam is a researcher and content creator from the Eeyou (Cree) Nation of Chisasibi. Specializing in wildlife ecology, he works at the Chisasibi Eeyou Resource and Research Institute (CERRI), where he studies plants and wildlife. Passionate about innovation, he is also learning about northern agriculture as a research assistant and is taking part in a hydroponics project. He also uses his communication skills to make videos and create digital content for CERRI and to manage its social media accounts.
Adam Koperqualuk : Adam Koperqualuk is an artist and researcher from Chisasibi, Quebec. Having both Eeyou (Cree) and Inuk heritage, he draws inspiration from his cultures and deep connection to the land. An avid hunter and outdoor enthusiast, he shares his northern lifestyle through the YouTube videos he makes. Adam also works at the Chisasibi Eeyou Resource and Research Institute (CERRI) as an agricultural researcher. He is working on a greenhouse project, testing growing and harvesting techniques and adapting farming practices to northern climes.
