Two days after an Enbridge pipeline spilled more than three million litres of crude oil into a creek leading to the Kalamazoo River in southwest Michigan, Greenpeace activists occupy Enbridge’s office in downtown Vancouver for over 24 hours. They demand that the oil giant withdraw its latest application for a pipeline that would bring more than 200 crude oil tankers annually to British Columbia’s west coast.
