Artist Statement

Hi, I’m actually Elena’s daughter, Angela Bennett. My mother is 81 years old and actually used to live in Grass Valley, CA when she painted these submissions. My mother started college as an art major and then changed it and ended up actually getting a Masters in Recreational Therapy working with OutBound type outfits. She is a BIG nature lover and understands it’s healing power. Nature by nature is hope and resilience! We are both advocates of its power to heal and transform.
