Artist Statement
The natural world is my muse. I count myself so incredibly lucky to live in the Sierra Nevada, a font of artistic inspiration. And gratitude sent out to the immense efforts of many to preserve our open lands.
The art of painting is to render light to create form, to record the emotional aspect of a three dimensional view onto a two dimensional framework. Daunting and yet compelling work. My passion.
