MORE INFO ABOUT THE 2027 WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL
Celebrating its 25th anniversary with the theme MOMENTUM, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival is one of the nation’s largest environmental and adventure film festivals, combining stellar filmmaking, cinematography, and first-rate storytelling to inform, inspire, and ignite solutions to restore the earth and help build a healthier, more sustainable future for generations to come. This milestone year marks an especially significant and relevant moment for the festival, with its mission and message mattering more than ever. Festivalgoers are treated to various award-winning films about nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy, wildlife, and environmental justice. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is hosted and produced by the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL), February 18–22, 2027 (February 18–28, 2027 online), and funds raised support their year-round work to protect and restore the Yuba River watershed. This flagship festival kicks off a nationwide tour bringing Wild & Scenic films to 120+ communities and more than 30,000 people annually.

How can I attend the 2027 Wild & Scenic Film Festival as press?
The Festival Communications Department manages press accreditation and is available to approved members of the print, audio-visual, and online press. You can apply by filling out the Press Accreditation Application.
If you have already applied, please keep an eye out for an email with your pass.
