HOW THE WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL HELPS

Stacy Harbaugh, River Alliance of Wisconsin’s Communications Director, says, “Hosting the Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Madison, Wisconsin helps to anchor our local supporters in an annual gathering where we get fired up for the coming year. People leave inspired and ready to take action on the initiatives we talk about before the films. With the added fun of door prizes and raffles, we can share the gifts of local and national vendors while raising additional funds for our organization.”

According to Stacy, “Our favorite thing is building a custom program of films that we know speak to the heart of our outdoorsy, Midwestern community. We are able to choose films that strike a balance between educating audiences on current issues of concern while also inspiring them to get excited about the rivers and wilderness they can explore when spring and summer return.”
