On Tour Resources 2025: Ticketing and Engagement
Ticketing
WSFF Home Festival and many National Tour Hosts use Eventive for their tickets but you can use any platform you like. If your organization has its own ticketing system or way to collect data feel free to use that. We also offer graphic ticket options if you go the route of hard tickets only.
If you are selling tickets and not offering a free event, determining your ticket price is a frequently asked question. While these are often location dependent, and factor with the cost of your venue, the average ticket price per event is $20. If you are offering food, beverage, or VIP seating then higher tiers are a great option. We highly recommend offering at least one lower ticket level too. This can be used for a variety of marketing options, often offered for children/students, presale purchasers or existing members. Some hosts even elect to give free tickets with the purchase of a membership to the organization or donation.
Have questions about ticketing systems and prices? Reach out to your event coordinator and we can help with recommendations.

Video On Demand (VOD) Ticketing
Video on Demand is our most popular add-on, costing $299 and making your event virtual for one week (7 days). This comes as a password-protected Vimeo link that you can share out for those seven day. This option gives you the opportunity to boost ticket sales for your community and grow organizational awareness for those who cannot make it to the in-person event. Many organizations that have a large member area such as land trusts or conservancies use this as a way to reach a much larger audience. This is also used for small in-person venues to reach more potential ticket purchasers if your in-person event sells out. Hosts have used VOD to get new members as well. IE: “if you sign up as a new member, or give a donation, we will send you the WSFF program as a thank you to watch at home.”
