In 2008, a baby girl is born in Bhopal, India, the site of the worst industrial disaster in history: the Union Carbide gas leak. What should be a celebration is a tragedy. She has severe birth defects due to the contaminated water, but the American company responsible still refuses to make amends 27 years after the incident. Bhopali paints a chilling portrait of shattered lives such as hers, and the gross negligence and class disparities that keep them from finding justice, safety and peace of mind.
