Film Submission Fee Waiver Application

We appreciate your interest in submitting your film to the 2026 Wild & Scenic Film Festival. As Wild & Scenic is a fundraiser for SYRCL, an environmental non-profit, we can only offer a limited number of fee waivers and cannot guarantee them from year to year. We rely on our submission fees to keep our event a successful fundraiser and ensure we can continue to offer a platform to screen films. We understand that some filmmakers cannot make the financial commitment to pay the full submission fee. Our Festival Director will review all requests and grant waiver opportunities based on need, professionalism, and filmmaker track record. APPLICATION DEADLINE: July 14, 2025.

SYRCL works throughout the Yuba River watershed on the Ancestral and Traditional homelands of the Nisenan Tribe, and includes shared boundaries with the Mountain Maidu, Konkow, and Washoe peoples. These tribes have lived here for millennia and live here still. We acknowledge and mourn the painful history of genocide and the devastation of lands and waters irreversibly altered. We are grateful for opportunities to partner with the tribes to create a shared vision and rebalance our relationship to this place.
