HOW DOES THE WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL ON TOUR HELP?

Cassie, the Arts & Entertainment Associate at Fair Oaks Rec & Park District, says, “Hosting the Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour aligns perfectly with our mission to enrich lives through exceptional parks and recreation opportunities. This event enhances our community’s appreciation for nature and promotes environmental awareness. It also strengthens our position as a leading provider of recreational experiences in Fair Oaks, drawing in diverse audiences and fostering community pride. By hosting this festival, we hope to inspire attendees to forge a deeper connection with our local environment, encouraging them to protect our iconic heritage oak trees, the lower American River, and the vernal pools in Phoenix Park.”

Cassie goes on to say that, “Our favorite aspect of hosting this event is the opportunity to bring our community together for a shared experience that inspires action and appreciation for the environment. The films not only entertain but also educate and motivate, leaving a lasting impact on attendees. We love seeing the excitement and engagement from both long-time residents and new visitors as they discover the wonders of nature through these compelling stories.”
