Artist Statement
Looking past the clear landscapes that we live in, it is my intention to inspect my surroundings and engage with my subject in a sensual and hypothetical way. This lens demands me to look through the fog of realism and witness my subject, as it is. At times my subject may be very obvious, and other times quite elusive; pausing in the present moment; is a must. My hoping to encourage those who see my work to not look at the world in such a literal way, but search out what is often over looked.
