Artist Statement

The Yuba River is “Art in Motion” – a visual canvas of ever-changing shapes and colors, as the current pushes forward, flowing out to sea. As such, the river is a constant source of inspiration for my photographic images.

The Yuba is also a metaphor of hope. Like the river, we move onward, in search of a better future, leaving the bad times behind.
