Host a Filmmaker or Special Guest for our 2020 Film Festival!

Are you interested in getting involved with the Wild & Scenic Film Festival in a unique way in exchange for some awesome perks?

Volunteer to host an attending filmmaker or special guest in your house during the festival!

From January 16-20, 2020 Nevada City and Grass Valley will transform into a hub of art and activism during one of the largest environmental film festivals in the United States! In order to accommodate all of our filmmakers and special guests during the weekend, we are reaching out to the community for support once again.

We do our best to match guests appropriately with hosts based on preferences that each party provides. All you need in order to be a host is a guest room, cottage, or other private bedroom space you would be willing to share during the festival, Thursday, January 16 – Sunday, January 20.

We would love to offer you some perks if you are able to offer up the ultimate generosity of sleeping space. Benefits range from one session pass to festival passes depending on how many guests are placed in your home. Details regarding placement and benefits will be finalized and sent to lodging hosts by early January.
