2020 Call for Student Art
Are you a local 6-12 grader interested in sharing your passions for art and the environment with your community? SYRCL’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival wants to display your environmentally-themed art. Update: This exhibition will be displayed online! To celebrate this exhibition and participating students, we will be hosting a virtual gallery opening on June 15. Check back here for more details.
Wild & Scenic Film Festival and art exhibitions aim to increase awareness of the intersection between arts and the environment in order to inspire people to take action in their own communities. This year we are excited to showcase youth activism through art to demonstrate the great work that local students can do to help further this message.
Wild & Scenic is opening the call for art to students in grades 6-12 from Nevada and Yuba Counties with photography, two-dimensional pieces, or three-dimensional pieces that inspire environmental activism or a love for nature.
